At STARS, the success of our therapeutic programs isn’t measured by charts or statistics. It’s seen in the wonderment in the eyes and hearts of participants facing tremendous challenges. Individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities gain strength, courage, and confidence through their interactions with our horses.
As a nonprofit serving the Siouxland area, we rely on fundraisers, grants, private donations, and annual giving campaigns to fulfill our mission. Your support helps us:
- Maintain and enhance current programs
- Develop new initiatives
- Purchase and train new therapy horses
- Support ongoing facility maintenance
- Provide scholarships for therapeutic riders
Cost to Participate: Each rider's cost for a 6-week session is $756, with typical evening classes serving 2 to 4 riders.
