Horse Camp
Join Us in 2026!
STARS is excited to host TWO, 5-day horse camps for kids ages 8-12. No prior horse experience is required!
Horse Camp Learning Objectives
- Basic Horse Knowledge: Horse parts, colors, diet, care, safety and behaviors.
- Groundwork: Grooming, tacking, equipment and leading.
- Riding: Mounts, dismounts, starts/stops, balanced seat, steering, walk, trot and backing.
- Hands-On Experience: Campers will spend 90% of time working with horses.
Skills Demonstration:
- On the final day of camp, campers will participate in a Skills Demonstration featuring fun games and exercises. Family and friends are invited to watch campers showcase what they’ve learned throughout the week.
Schedule:
- Dates: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Friday Schedule: 9:00AM-11:00AM, Skills Demonstration starts at 10:00AM
Cost:
- $315 per person (payment due at registration)

Lil Troopers Horse Camp
STARS is excited to host Lil Troopers Horse Camp again this summer! Join us for a 1-day camp for kids ages 4-7. No prior horse experience is required!
What to Expect: Gain riding skills, make new friends, and explore the world of horses.
Horse Parade: A fun, short show for family and friends, starting at 11:30am.
Schedule: Thursday June 11th 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Cost: $100 per person (payment due at registration)
