• What brought you to Stars: It just made sense to volunteer in a place where horses and humans come together to heal and grow.

• Favorite Stars Horse(s) & Why: Copper because he is a beautiful red roan and he has the personality of a renowned professor who studies giraffes. I also love Lucy and Daisy because they are strong independent mares but once they trust you, you're a part of their herd forever.

• What brought you to Stars: I have always loved horses and wanted to volunteer.

• Favorite Stars Horse(s) & Why: I think there is something about every horse at Stars that I love. Copper is a sweet, loving horse that stays calm in any situation. Belle is a beautiful mare that is bold, but once you have her trust, a connection is built forever.

• What brought you to Stars: I chose Stars because I wanted to give back and find a peaceful space where I could connect with others and build new friendships along the way.

• Favorite Stars Horse(s) & Why:  Molly because she is just a sweet pea and reminds me of the Paint horses that I grew up with. I also love Evie because she can be full of sass (especially at feed time) but when she wants your affection, she lets you know.

• What brought you to Stars: As a recent transplant to Sioux City, I was looking for a way to get to know the area, meet new people, and be involved in the Siouxland community. What better way than with people and horses! I started as a volunteer and within a year joined the training program to become a TR instructor.
