A Gift of Healing. A Summer of Giving.

This summer, we’re trading snowflakes for sunshine and pine trees for palm trees! The month of December is an incredible time of year and a season we greatly enjoy but we also know it can be a lot! So, we are switching it up! With your help, we’re celebrating Christmas in July with our annual appeal to support the horses, donkeys, cats, and participants that make STARS such a special place. 

Each tag on our Giving Palm Tree represents a need we have for our program— such as halters, feed, fly gear, support for our participants and more. Just like in December, you can “pick a tag” and give a gift that directly impacts lives. 

Whether you choose to sponsor an item from the list, donate the items in-kind, provide a service, or make a general donation, your support will help us continue to provide:

           Safe, professional, and nurturing equine programs

           Daily care for 14 horses, 2 donkeys, and 3 cats

           Participant scholarships to ensure no one is turned away

Here’s how you can help make our July merry & bright:

1.  "Purchase" an item from our list on zeffy below and we will use your donation to buy those items for you or apply that donation to the appropriate fund if it is for a participant!   ** PLEASE NOTE!! You are not purchasing the item directly but making a monetary donation for STARS to purchase the specific items you chose!

2. Bring items from the list to the Barn as an in-kind donation!

3. Make a general donation to the STARS program to help in the areas of greatest need!

** You will receive a tax letter and thank you for all donations made to STARS! In-Kind and/or Monetary!
